Nano Brows

Are Nano Brows a Good Choice for Semi Permanent Eyebrows?

Nano brows- otherwise known as brow micropigmentation or Permanent Makeup tattooing- are another method of eyebrow enhancement. Unlike microblading, it is a more permanent process to create the perfect brow for your face.

Nano brows are done with nano needles and a tattoo machine. These needles are the size of an actual hair and flexible. As the needle hits the skin, it actually mimics the look and even the behavior of an actual eyebrow hair.

Powder Brows

Powder brows are more like microblading but still unique. While microblading tends to provide more defined needle strokes, powder brows are done with more of a powdery look. Depending on your eyebrow goal, microblading and powder brows can be applied together.

Powder brows are also often done in such a way that the brow is a darker color on the tail end and fades as it moves to the center of the face. This is called the ombre effect and makes your brows look even more natural.

Powder brows are a great option for those looking to add a bushier look to the hair they already have or those with thin brows looking for a thick and natural solution.

So What’s the Difference in Nano Brows and Microblading?

Though microblading and nano needling are similar procedures, there are some differences between the two. Knowing these differences can help you make a more educated decision when choosing which method would be better for you.

Nano needling and microblading are done with different tools. Microblading is done with a small hand held tool where each hair is essentially scratched into the skin. Microblading can last from several months up to 18 months with touch ups and the proper care.

Nano brows, on the other hand, are applied with a singular needle that is attached to a Permanent makeup tattoo pen. As nano needling only requires one needle, it is less traumatic to the skin, meaning it typically heals faster.

Nano brows can last for years with touch ups and the proper care. Nano needling costs more than microblading, and the nano procedure tends to take a little longer to complete. However, since nano brows provide a more defined look and last for a much longer period of time, they are worth every penny.
